Calorie Calculator

Free online calorie calculator. Calculate your daily calorie needs (BMR & TDEE) based on age, weight, height, and activity level.

Enter your weight and height

How It Works

  1. Enter your sex, age, height, and current weight.
  2. Select your activity level (sedentary, light, moderate, active, or very active).
  3. The calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to compute your basal metabolic rate (BMR).
  4. BMR is multiplied by your activity factor to get your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE).
  5. Use the result to set calorie targets for weight loss, maintenance, or muscle gain.

Formula

Men: BMR = 10 x weight(kg) + 6.25 x height(cm) - 5 x age + 5
Women: BMR = 10 x weight(kg) + 6.25 x height(cm) - 5 x age - 161
TDEE = BMR x activity factor (1.2 sedentary to 1.9 very active)

Example

Input: Male | 30 years | 70 kg | 175 cm | Moderately active
Result: BMR: 1,649 kcal/day TDEE: 2,556 kcal/day

FAQ

It uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, widely regarded as the most accurate method for estimating basal metabolic rate.

Total Daily Energy Expenditure - the total calories your body burns per day, including physical activity.

No. All calculations run entirely in your browser. No personal data is ever sent to a server.

A deficit of about 500 kcal/day below your TDEE typically leads to approximately 0.5 kg of weight loss per week.
